How can you make a Beautiful wedding Cake?

When it comes to wedding cakes, long gone are the days of following tradition. Since you are considering a beach theme wedding cake, you are obviously not a slave to those traditions.
One thing to remember...there are no rules! If there are...well, rules are made to be broken. Your beach theme wedding cake can be anything you want it to be!
How many guests are you planning to have? If you have your cake made professionally it can range in price anywhere from $2.00 to $15.00 per slice. A "slice" is normally considered to be 2 ounces or, approximately 4" x 2". The range in price will depend on how much intricate detail you want on it. If the cake you choose is very labor intensive, you can expect higher prices. If you are on a tight budget, keep it simple!
A beach theme wedding cake can be any size, shape or description. Be creative. If you have an idea for your cake, sketch it out on paper and take it to that talented friend, relative or your chosen bakery. If you can imagine it, someone can make it!
Do not limit your thinking to a two or three tier cake. It can be round, square, a sheet cake, a sculpted cake, individual mini cakes, cupcakes or even cookies! Some brides even choose a one or two layer, individual wedding cake on each guest table rather than the traditional large cake at the head table. This is a nice idea because it also serves as the table centerpiece. This eliminates the added expense associated with having a wedding centerpiece at each table!
A couple of things to keep in mind though...
* Since your reception may be on the beach, consider the sun! If you are having a dawn or dusk ceremony, heat from the sun will probably not be a major factor. However, if you are having your wedding midday, consider an "ornamental" cake. By that I mean, not edible with the exception of perhaps the bottom layer if you and the groom plan to cut it. You don't want your creation to melt!
* Consider draping your cake in a decorative manner with tulle to keep the bugs and sand out of it. It would be beautiful yet practical.
* Purchase decorative, individual cake boxes. Fill them and perhaps tie your wedding program or thank you to them with ribbon. Keep them in a cooler until time to pass them out to your guests. They will serve as your wedding favor, killing two birds with one stone!
* Make your own beach theme wedding cake! Look inside the next "Duncan Hines" cake mix you buy. The instruction for making baking tiered cakes is in there! You can do it. If you can't, I'll bet you know a friend who could! In EVERY town there is a friend or a "friend of a friend" who makes beautiful wedding cakes. It's a hobby for them. They love doing it! Of course they still want to be paid, but not the ridiculous prices that a professional will charge you.

The procedure of choosing a beach umbrella

 Size Matters
Make sure you get a beach umbrella that is large enough to provide ample shade. If you plan on spending a whole day at the beach you most certainly will want some sort of escape from the sunshine.
 Durable
You don't want a flimsy umbrella that is going to blow away in the wind. It should be well built and sturdy. Beach umbrellas are usually made with aluminum, plastic or wood. Any of these can do a good job of keeping your beach umbrella firmly attached in the sand. You might also want to consider a tilt so you can easily change the shade location. This feature can come in real handy.
 Good Fabric
If possible, find a beach umbrella with a strong fabric. It is also best to get one that is water resistant as it might get wet from a rain shower or splashed from wet beach goers. There are also umbrellas that SPF protection which provides even higher protection from the sun.
 Anchor
When possible make sure you buy a spaded tip at the end of your umbrella pole. It can be very annoying to have a pole that does not anchor well into the sand. The slightest breeze could end up blowing your umbrella over. A spaded tip will make placement into the sand much easier.
Color
You might consider getting a fancy color that is easy to remember in a crowd. Suppose the beach is crowded and you go to the bathroom or take a walk along the beach. A colorful, memorable beach umbrella will make it easier for you to spot your area.

5 best Beautiful beach in USA

Caladesi Island State Park Beach was voted the best beach in the USA in 2008 (it came 2nd in 06 and 07). This beach is located close to the city of Dunedin in Florida, some 36kms west of Tampa. In addition to its fantastic stretches of white sand there are a number of other activities you can avail of. These include a nature trail, a marina, the picnic pavilions and the bathhouses. You can also go fishing, shelling, kayaking, boating and hiking.

Hanalei Bay came 2nd in 2008 and you'll find it near the town of Hanalei on the northern coast of the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii. Here you can enjoy the most pristine Blue Ocean and over 3kms of beautiful sandy beach. It's a popular area for sailing snorkeling and swimming. To one side of the bay there's the Princeville Makai Golf Course which offers spectacular views over the bay and the pacific.

Back in Florida you'll find Siesta Beach close to Sarasota. This beach is found on Siesta Key which, along with Lido Key, is world famous for its fine beaches. The sand here is 99% pure crystal quartz which makes it one of the cleanest whitest sands in the world. The beach is equipped with volleyball courts and a cook out area where you can cook your own BBQ (though you'll have to bring your own charcoal).

Situated on the east coast you'll find Coopers Beach in the state of New York. It's on Long Island near the town of Southampton and a mere 145 kms from New York, perfect for a day trip out of the city. Though not known for year round good weather, when the sun shines, Coopers Beach rivals the best in this list. After enjoying the beach you could go for a look around the town of Southampton which was the first European settlement in the state.
Many of these beaches are a little out of the way from their home town or city so you will probably require a car to get to the beach. Just don't forget a packed lunch and appropriate sunscreen.

A beautiful Laguna Beach Wedding!

Laguna Beach weddings combine your most special day with the one you love, and beautiful beach settings that are unforgettable! You can start planning your wedding today! It doesn't matter if you're not engaged yet. It really doesn't matter if you're not even currently dating someone! With all of the stunning locations, you can take your friends to explore the countless incredible beaches and parks- and while they're having a fabulous time absorbing the panoramic views and stunning rock formations, you can secretly be storing these ideas away for when you're planning an amazing Laguna Beach wedding!
Any events held at one of Laguna's many parks or beaches will require you to obtain a Laguna Beach Wedding Permit well in advance of your planned date. If you are considering Heisler Park gazebo as a possible location for your ceremony, I recommend that you submit your completed permit forms to the City of Laguna Beach as early as possible, because during the summer month’s reservations for the gazebo fill up very quickly. Two primary concerns that you may have with the Heisler Park gazebo location may include challenges with parking during the summer months, and the uninvited pedestrian traffic that will also be enjoying the park.
If you are confident that you'd like to have your ceremony on the sand or at the bluffs, there are many other public beaches and parks that you should explore prior to making your final decision. Other beautiful sites can be found at Treasure Island Park and on the sand of many less crowded Laguna Beach beaches.
As you consider specific beaches for your wedding, make sure that you think about which features are desirable for your party and your guests. Many beaches have stairway access that may be difficult for some guests to navigate. If you think you will need a restroom nearby to accommodate extended photo shoots or longer ceremonies that may also help to rule out certain venues which lack facilities.
Many couples operating with a larger budget choose to satisfy their desire for Laguna Beach weddings by celebrating their vows at one of the lavish local resorts. Two of the most popular facilities to celebrate your vows are the Surf and Sand Hotel and the Montage Resort. The wedding coordinators at either of these luxurious facilities will likely offer several options and packages which vary with respect to pricing, extravagance, and specific location on each property.

Best beaches of Europe

The classic European tour is essentially a culturally enriching one - punctuated with visits to medieval cities with castles, forts, bell towers and churches, listening to historical accounts or stories, or walking along cobbled streets to take in the contemporary art, fashion, food or cafe scene. On the surface, it may be seem that beaches in Europe are a misnomer, given that the geographical nature of Europe where a number of European cities are landlocked. Still, for European cities with a coastline, you can be sure the beaches will either offer something panache, or something culturally rich, or both.
Travelers who trek around the world in search for beach experiences will quickly realize the fundamental differences between beaches in Europe vis-à-vis beaches in Southeast Asia.
For one, beaches in Europe (or pelages in French) are best visited seasonally, during the warmer months (from May to October). The seasonal attraction of the beaches also means that the popular beaches in Europe can get very crowded during summer. Expect no privacy as many Europeans will want to flock to the beaches on a warm day to soak in the sun. Most Mediterranean cities in Southern France, Greece and Spain have wonderful stretches of beaches, and attract many Europeans in search for warm weather during the summer months.
While summers can get hot, the waters are not necessarily warm. What this means is that not all beach-goers go to the beach for the waters - some never venture into the sea, or do so for a short time only. A lot more time is spent on the beach itself. Hence the large numbers of umbrellas, beach cabins or cabanas and deck chairs on the beach. The colder waters and windy beaches in Europe also mean that more above-water sports options, such as wind or kite surfing, are pursued.
The sand quality in most European beaches is a medium to coarse grain type, mixed with coral / loam - not the type of silky fine-grained sand that your feet sinks into. Well, not without some effort on your part. On top of that, all beaches in Europe have sand - jagged rocks or pebbles replace sand totally on some beaches, for example, in Nice, France.
Take note that many European beaches have clothing-optional beaches, and topless sunbathing is a common sight in summer.
While beaches are usually associated with sun-soaking activities in Southern European cities, cities in Northern Europe offers a different breed of beaches - beaches with great natural beauty. Think secluded coves and cliffs, wilderness, rugged terrain, sand dunes... The Scandinavian countries - Norway, Denmark and Sweden offer travelers different types of beach experiences. For example, the Got land beach in Sweden. The best part about visiting beaches in Northern Europe in summer is the long daylight hours.
Naturally, if you are still on the trail for some culture and history, the beaches of Normandy in Brittany, France would be a poignant and memorable trip. These beaches were the battleground between the Americans and the Germans during World War II. Read More.
